School Mission Statement:
Shannon Lake Elementary students, staff and parents work together to provide a safe and respectful environment in which students strive for academic success and personal excellence.

Shannon Lake Elementary School Profile
Shannon Lake Elementary was opened September 1993 and has a current student population of approximately 425.
The school has a strong literacy focus, and it has received local, provincial and national recognition for its work in early literacy.  The school’s PAC and SPC are very active, diligently supporting school improvement initiatives.  Parents also support the classroom directly in numerous volunteer roles.

School Office Hours
The school's office hours are 7:45 am to 3:15 pm Monday to Friday. Mrs. Alida Privett is our Principal and Ms. Terrilynn Scarcelli is our Vice Principal and shares a Grade 2 class with Mr. Tonn. Mrs. Laurie Rieger is the school secretary.

WALKING SCHOOL BUS

We are excited about our Walking School Bus beginning in September. More families walking to school means less traffic and healthier minds and bodies for learning.
